Hilary Rounds, RDN, CDE, NASM-cpt
Hilary Rounds is the registered dietician and certified diabetes educator for Rose Center for Bariatrics. She organizes and teaches all the pre- and post-bariatric surgery nutrition classes, facilitates the support groups and checks in on patients in the hospital after surgery to ensure all their questions are answered. Hilary is there to offer knowledge and support to patients throughout the continuum of care. She has years of experience in bariatric nutrition among a multitude of other nutritional disciplines.
Hilary attended Colorado State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics, nutrition and fitness. She then completed a dietetic internship with the VA San Diego Healthcare System, and earned a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Hilary is also a certified diabetes educator, through the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
Hilary believes that bariatric surgery is a process that requires a supportive healthcare team the whole way through. Along with her knowledgeable and talented colleagues, she is able to alleviate much of the confusion and fear associated with bariatric surgery and answer questions that many patients may have about their care.
